Snowcastle
Welcome to visit the Hetta Snowcastle created of
snow and ice. During the winter 2011 – 2012 the Snowcastle will be built in
Enontekiö for the 16th time already. The snowcastle is located at
the shore of the beautiful lake Ounasjärvi in Vuollikka, some 4 kim from the
Hetta centre towards airport. It is easy to visit the castle with skis,
snowmobiles or cars.

You may stop at the Snowcastle for a cup of coffee, and at the same time you may admire the
wonders of snow and ice architecture as well as the ice sculptures at the castle. The
snowcastle offers you a unique possibility to spend a night in the peace and
silence. You will sleep on the reindeer skin, inside a warm sleeping bag.
The Hetta Snowcastle is an excellent venue for
different celebrations, such as birthdays and weddings. In the restaurant hall you can have a party of 40 people as well as eat. We help you to plan and organize different celebrations. You may also taste traditional Lappish dishes at the snowcastle. Meals will be arranged on request.
This year we will open the beginning of december.
The Snowcastle is open on request.
The entrance fee is 8 eur.
Opening theSnowcastle cost 40 eur (including 5 entrance tickets). The entrance fee includes introduction of the castle and hot drink wit a cookie.
